Hobbies

The stuff I do when I'm not writing code.

Dungeons & Dragons

Every Monday night I sit down with my friends on Foundry VTT and run the Kaldrosa Campaign. It's a dark, gritty homebrew world where an industrializing society is fighting over ancient relics left behind by forgotten gods. My players aren't chosen heroes. They're just a group of people who met by chance and keep getting dragged into things. I build all the content myself, from the world to the monsters to the story arcs. Half the fun is the prep.

Platform

Foundry VTT

  • DM for a long-running weekly homebrew campaign
  • Built custom Foundry VTT plugins and an AI assistant directly into the platform
  • Building Ballads & Baubles and Lore & Hearth to make sessions more immersive

Cooking

I like being in the kitchen and seeing people's faces when they eat something I made. That's honestly the best part. I'm not a chef by any means, but I enjoy it and I'm always trying to get better at it.

Reading

Heavy into fantasy and sci-fi. Brandon Sanderson, John Gwynne, Travis Baldree. I keep a bookshelf on this site if you want to see what I've been into lately.

  • Fantasy and sci-fi are the go-to genres
  • The longer the book, the better
  • Always have something on the nightstand
